Writing a Strong Offer

With multiple offer situations having becoming the norm for most properties in Metro Vancouver - here are a few tips on edging out your competition: 

  1. Have a deposit on file and ready with your REALTOR's®  office to let the listing agent that you are seriously considering the property.
  2. Make your offer subject free.  There are several standard subjects that should be considered with every purchase, however your REALTOR® should get you prepared to clear these as quickly as possible - even before your offer has been submitted.
  3. Be flexible with your dates. Work with the listing agent to accommodate the dates of the selling party. 

Discuss your strategy with your REALTOR® early in the shopping process to ensure that when you find the right property, your offer gets the consideration it will need to get accepted.
