This year, forget the premixed canned convenience - it's time to put the treat back in trick-or-treating by mixing up some drinks that your guests will be talking about long after their costumes are put away. Here are five fun Halloween cocktails and shots, guaranteed to make your Halloween party scary this year.

Razor Apple

  • Into a shaker:

    • Vodka: 1.25oz / 37ml

    • Spiced Rum: 0.6oz / 18ml

    • Triple Sec: 0.5oz / 15ml

    • Apple Cider (Non-Alc, Unfiltered): 4oz / 120ml

    • Cranberry Juice: 1oz / 30ml

    • Fresh Lemon Juice: 0.25oz / 7.5ml

  • Strain into a tall glass with ice

  • Garnish - apple, cinnamon, orange.

Sleeping Beauty

  • Into a Shaker:

    • Vodka: 1.5 oz (45 mL).

    • Sour Puss - Red (Raspberry Liqueur): 0.5 oz (15 mL).

    • Galliano: 0.25 oz (7.5 mL).

  • Strain into a short glass with ice.

  • Sprite (Top): Top (approx. 3-4 oz / 90-120 mL).

  • Garnish: A single Maraschino Cherry.

(Layer in a shot glass order from bottom to top)

  1. Bottom (Yellow): Galliano L'Autentico: 1/3

  2. Middle (Orange): Aperol: 1/3

  3. Top (White): Bumbu Cream: 1/3

Wolf Bite

  • Into a shaker: 

    • Midori Melon Liqueur: 0.5 oz (15 mL)

    • Pineapple Juice (100%): 1.0 oz (30 mL)

    • Absinthe: 0.25 oz (7.5 mL)

  • Strain into a shot glass.

  • Garnish: The Grenadine dash for the red "blood" layer.

Brain Hemorrhage

  • Layer the Peach Schnapps on the bottom and the Bumbu Cream on top. Add a few drops of grenadine to create the blood streaks.

    • Peach Schnapps (Base): 1.0 oz (30 mL)

    • Bumbu Cream: 0.5 oz (15 mL)

    • Grenadine: 3-4 dashes (approx. 3-4 mL), blood streak for the brain effect.
