March 2026 Update: Seller’s Hesitate!

While sales are picking up from the January slump, we’re seeing a fascinating twist: Sellers are hesitating, yet total inventory is sitting at a decade-high. In the Fraser Valley, choice for buyers is a staggering 54% above average.

📉 Prices: Down 5.5% to 9% year-over-year.

📈 Supply: Housing starts surged 33% this January.

💰 Rates: BoC held the overnight rate at 2.25%.

The Catch: Middle East tensions are impacting gas prices, which could nudge inflation back up - rates will follow.
